Sneed is questionable and traveling separately, but Kansas City still made moves to get healthier
L'Jarius Sneed is listed as questionable for Sunday in Seattle and made the trip on a separate flight from the rest of the team — the kind of detail that usually means a player's availability is genuinely uncertain rather than a formality. The secondary has held up well enough this season, but Sneed was signed in the offseason specifically to be a cornerstone of that group, and his absence would push the depth chart toward younger, less-tested options against a Seahawks offense that, whatever its other problems this week, can still make you pay.
The four roster moves Kansas City made Friday are worth noting alongside the Sneed situation. Per the news out of the facility, one of them brings an injured player back to the active roster while a running back will miss at least a month. Jaylon Moore is already ruled out. The roster shuffling is routine at this point in a season, but it's a reminder that the Chiefs are managing a real injury list even while sitting at 5-0.
None of this is likely to derail a team outscoring opponents by more than 11 points a game. But the secondary depth bears watching, and the running back situation — with Kenneth Walker III healthy and leading the league in rushing yards — at least has a clear answer at the top even if the depth behind him thins out.
