Nets Add Pringle on Exhibit 10, Closing Out a Busy Summer
Brooklyn signed Nick Pringle, a 6'10" power forward out of Arkansas, to an Exhibit 10 deal on Monday. He's 24, listed at 230 pounds, and this is the kind of move that fills out a training camp roster rather than changes one. Noted, filed.
The timing is worth a sentence. Brooklyn has been active all summer — Keon Ellis, the Sharpe and Minott extensions, Moe Wagner, the Randle acquisition — and Pringle arrives as the apparent last piece of that construction. After Wagner's signing in late July, the front office signaled it was comfortable with where the roster stood. Pringle fits that framing: a big body to push through camp, compete for a G League spot, and give the coaching staff options at a position that got thinner when Jayden Quaintance went down for surgery with no return date set.
Exhibit 10 deals don't carry guarantees, so Pringle will need to earn whatever comes next. For now, Brooklyn has its summer class assembled and training camp on the horizon.
