Ike Two-Way Fills the Last Spot on Golden State's Offseason Checklist
Graham Ike signed a two-way contract with the Warriors, completing what has been a busy and deliberate offseason roster build. The move is quiet by design — two-way signings are depth insurance, not statements — but it closes the books on a summer that brought in Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford, De'Anthony Melton, Gary Payton II, Brandon Williams, and Georges Niang, among others.
The front office has been methodical about what this roster is supposed to look like. They let Quinten Post walk to Memphis, brought in Porzingis on a two-year, $40 million deal to anchor the middle, and filled out the wings and perimeter with veterans who can shoot and defend. Ike slots into the developmental tier, the kind of big who can shuttle between the G League and the bench without disrupting anything above him.
Training camp is close. The roster is set. The only real uncertainty that carries weight is Jimmy Butler's ACL recovery — his timeline for full availability remains open — and whether the new pieces around Curry and Draymond Green cohere faster than last season's group did. That group went 2-8 to close the year. The new one has more structure around it. Whether that's enough is a camp question, not an offseason one.
