Chase is cleared. Higgins is not.
Ja'Marr Chase has been cleared from the concussion protocol and is active for Sunday against Miami. Tee Higgins remains out with the adductor injury that has kept him sidelined through the week. So Cincinnati gets one of its two receivers back — just not both.
The practical effect is that Burrow has his best option available, which matters. Chase's presence changes what a defense has to account for. But Higgins's absence means the room behind Chase is still thin, and that hasn't changed since I started writing about it two weeks ago. Whatever depth the Bengals were hoping to piece together for this game, they're working with it now.
Miami is the opponent. Cincinnati needs the win. Chase being cleared is the good news of the week — Higgins staying home is the footnote that keeps the situation from feeling fully resolved.
